Welcome & What We Believe

Welcome

We, the membership of Immanuel Baptist Church believe that we exist to serve God locally, nationally, and internationally, by fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ as set forth in Matthew 28: 19-20; to minister to the needs of the members and others; to worship God; and to promote the cause of Christ, in all our endeavors for the sake of the Gospel.

We invite you to join us on our walk with Christ as we endeavor to worship Him through blended styles of worship services, proclaiming the gospel through the preached word, and to study His Word in discipleship to grow in Christ-likeness!

If you have been praying, searching, and hoping to be a part of a Christ centered, Bible teaching, loving church:

We say WELCOME!

Worship

Our blended worship services include classic hymns of the faith, contemporary praise and worship, Sunday morning choir, and solid, Biblical preaching.  Nursery and Children’s Church are available.  Come and worship with us, and experience our Baptist roots while lifting up the Savior.

Core Beliefs

The Articles of Faith of this church is “The Baptist Faith and Message 2000.”  There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. In the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Christ, so that mankind might be saved. Salvation is God’s free gift to man, but man must accept it for eternal security.  A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, observing the two ordinances of Christ: Believers Baptism and The Lord’s Supper.  Baptism by immersion is the believer’s first act of obedience but does not have anything to do with a person’s salvation.  In regard to evangelism and missions: It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of His church to endeavor to make disciples of all nations. We take the Great Commission seriously and support the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention.
