Senior Pastor
Bro. Ron Shepherd serves as Senior Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church of Somerset, KY. Bro. Ron received his bachelors degree from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College and his MA Degree from the University of the Cumberlands. Bro. Ron was raised in a Southern Baptist Church and at the age of 14, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at church camp. He is married to his high school sweetheart Julie. They have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. In his off time, he loves baseball, deer hunting, and working on Julies’ Honey Do List.
Bro. Jeremy Cole
Worship Pastor
Bro. Jeremy Cole serves as Worship Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church. Jeremy received his Bachelors Degree from Campbellsville University and His MA Degree and further studies from Eastern KY University. Jeremy also has taken courses through Clear Creek Baptist Bible College. Bro. Jeremy is married to his college sweetheart, Danielle. They have 5 children…Ashley, Shelby, Jon, David, and Matthew…and 2 dogs. Music is my life. We are meant to worship. Worship is one of my favorite times on any given day. It is a privilege to serve the people of Immanuel Baptist Church. The following verses sum up why I do what I do.
Psalm 150:1-6
“Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Bro. Brad Carroll
Youth Minister
Bro. Brad serves our 7th-12th Graders in Youth Sunday School and Activities. Bro. Brad is a Somerset native and is married to Lesley Russell Carroll. Brad and Lesley have 4 children….Blake, Julian, Titus, and Oliver. Brad received his degree from Liberty University. Brad is part owner and manager at CC’s Furniture in Somerset & London. In his free time, Brad is involved in coaching basketball, traveling to Okaloosa Island with Church Family, and spending time with his extended family.
Bro. Nathan Johnson
Children’s Minister
Nathan serves our Preschoolers and 1st-6th Graders in Sunday School and in IBC Kids ministry activities. Nathan is currently attending Campbellsville University where he is studying Pastoral Ministries. Nathan is married to his best friend Abbigayle. They have several dogs and cats to take care of. They are also the proud parents of William.
