What can I expect when I visit Immanuel Baptist Church?

We realize that walking into a church building for the first time can be an overwhelming experience, to help you feel more at home, we want to let you know what you may experience here at Immanuel Baptist Church by answering some common questions.
 
What time are the services?
Sunday Morning Service is at 10:30 AM. We also encourage people to attend a Sunday School class at 9:30 AM. We also gather together on Sunday evenings at 6 pm and Wednesday evenings at 7 pm.
 
How long does the church service last?
Our services are scheduled to last one hour.
 
What do people wear to the service?
Many of our regular attendees dress casually while some wear more traditional church clothes. Come as you are!
 
Is there parking available?
Yes, we have plenty of parking on site, and we will have a members of our church family at the door ready to greet you and help you find where to go. 
 
Is childcare available?
Yes, our childcare is clean, safe, and free. We have Nursery & Children’s Church available at our 10:30 AM Service.  Nursery and IBC Kids activities are available at all services.  
 
Will I be singled out in the service?
We do not single out our guests in our services. We will not ask you to stand, stay seated, wear a sticker, or anything else that may cause you to be uncomfortable. We will ask you to simply fill out a connection card in the back of your bulletin, so we may be aware of your visit with us. 
 
What is the music like at Immanuel?
We have instrumentalists, a praise team, and choir that lead us in passionate and heartfelt singing.  We worship in a blended style of traditional hymns and contemporary songs.
 
Will I be pressured to give money?
No. You are our guest, and we will not pressure you for any money. We are just grateful that you have come to join us.
 
What is Sunday School?
Sunday School is a small group Bible study that gathers on Sunday mornings. Sunday School will offer a setting for you to learn about God’s Word through an interactive Bible study lesson. They also provide an opportunity for you to develop intimate relationships within a smaller community of believers. Whatever your age or stage of life, there are classes for you and your family.
